Charles H. Miller (1829-1902), born in England and trained at Kew Gardens, served as the chief landscape gardener of several Philadelphia estates in the later 19th century. Miller also served as the chief of the Bureau of Horticulture for the Centennial Exhibition before being made chief gardener for Fairmount Park in 1876. He served as the park's chief gardener until his death in 1902.Imprint: PA.
